Rotary Club in Kumasi Commissions 6 Unit classroom block, 8-unit toilet facility, and others to Sawua community.

The Rotary Club of Kumasi has commissioned a 6-unit classroom block, 8-unit toilet facility, library, ICT room, hand pump borehole, and solar panel for the people of Sawua, a community in the Atwima Nwabiagya South Municipality.

Commissioning the project, the Project Director and president-elect for Rotary Club of Kumasi, Nana Effah Mensah said the provision of the facilities was to make education accessible to the people of Sawua and provide quality education since education remains a topmost priority and also human resource development is key to success.

He also appealed to the chiefs and assembly to adhere to the maintenance culture and protect the facility to stand the test of time. The assembly member also expressed his profound gratitude to the Rotary Club of Kumasi for giving them a school and also appealed to the general public to come to their aid in developing the community.

A resident, Vida Mensah took the advantage to put forward their grievances on other aspects of development such as good roads, electricity, and also communication network that the community lacks.
