Shatta Wale explains the reasons why He Couldn’t Perform At The Hogbe Beach Rave Festival

Lyrical monster and African Dancehall King, Shatta Wale has given reasons why he couldn’t perform at the Hogbetsotso festival as planned last Saturday

As part of the agreement, the ‘On God’ hitmaker made with the coordinators which happily signed was violated by the organizers which made Shatta Wale return to Accra after landing at the Volta region for the show.

According to Shatta Wale per the contract, he won’t be available at any radio station for an interview and also won’t have enough time to go around greeting chiefs before his show in the evening since he will be tired.

The organizers agreed to that since they claim his interview with Captain Smart on the ‘Onua Maakye’ is all that is needed but as soon as he arrives in the Volta, he wasn’t sent to his hotel as discussed or signed in the contract, and straight they sent him to a radio station for an interview which wasn’t part of the deal.

“I told my road manager and of which the organizers are aware that when we go no interview and no go and greet chiefs because I will be tired since my show is in the event moreover they only contacted me for a show,” Shatta Wale continues

“The cash wasn’t sufficient but because of my Godfather I agreed to perform, I made it known that when I get there no interview unless I decide to myself that in the process I might share some funds with my fans that one is my decision,” Shatta Wale explained more

According to Shatta Wale, after he arrived in the town, instead of them sending him to his hotel so he can rest for his performance in the evening, they rather sent him to a radio station for an interview which was a violation of the contract.

An agreement is a contract signed and an infringement can lead to many other things. Shatta Wale can’t be blamed for not turning up. It’s definitely the coordinator’s fault.
